AlleghenyRochesterRoadCulvertPic.png

Project Overview

The proposed project consists of replacing the existing structure carrying Rochester Road (SR 4011) over Harts Run in Ross Township.  The scope of work will also include roadway reconstruction at the bridge approaches, drainage and guiderail updates/upgrades, signing and pavement markings.

The proposed work includes the following:

    • Remove existing pipe culvert and replace with a new precast concrete box culvert.
    • Minor approach roadway reconstruction to tie into the new structure.
    • Acquisition of small areas of Right-of-Way, which are required to accommodate the new culvert.

Construction is anticipated to begin in spring/summer of 2025.

Proposed detour

Rochester Road will be closed and detoured during construction, which is anticipated to take approximately 40 days. During that time an approximately 4-mile detour will be place.
