This project is the resurfacing of State Route 11 (North Scranton Expressway) and ramps in the city of Scranton, Lackawanna County. The project also includes the preservation of multiple structures on State Route 11. Work includes PPC overlay, Type 2 and Type 3 Deck Repairs, and replacement of joint sealing system. The project also includes the construction of an underground retaining wall to stabilize the existing road shoulder and protect the roadway from future damage caused by an existing mine subsidence. All work is contained within an overall length of 3.4 miles.
