The project consists of replacing the existing stone masonry arch structure over the Branch of Big Wapwallopen Creek in Dorrance Township with a two-lane, precast reinforced concrete box culvert. The project also includes minor approach roadway work, including full-depth reconstruction, paved shoulders, drainage improvement, and guide rail upgrades.

Traffic will be maintained throughout construction by utilizing a signed detour. The 9.1-mile detour will utilize Route 3007 (Blue Ridge Trail), Route 2042 (Stairville Road), Route 2047 (Church Road), and Route 2045 (South Main Road).

Construction work is anticipated to take place in the Spring of 2026.
