The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to a virtual online plans display regarding the Route 4035, Section 350 Bridge Rehabilitation Project.

The purpose of the project is to replace the existing bridge deck and perform beam and abutment repairs on the structure that carries State Route 4035 (Register Road) over Pine Creek in Huntington Township, Luzerne County. This project also includes approximately 75' of roadway approach work along Route 4035 to allow for smooth transitions and structure construction while a detour is in place.

The proposed replacement is an 8" thick composite concrete deck. The existing bridge width is maintained with a structure roadway width of 30 feet (two 11-foot lanes and 5-foot shoulders).

The project is currently in design and is planned to be let in Fall 2025.  Construction work is anticipated to take place in the Spring of 2026.
