Allentown Road Bridge over a branch of Unami Creek Culvert ReplacementOverview

The existing bridge is a 22’ long single-span rolled steel I-beam bridge constructed in 1951.  The bridge carries Allentown Road (Route SR 4027) over a branch of Unami Creek in Milford Township, Bucks County.  The structure is in poor condition and posted with a 15-ton weight restriction.

The project involves the replacement of the existing structure with a single-span concrete box culvert.
The project also includes the replacement of the guide rail, signing, and pavement markings.

All traffic will be detoured during construction.
