Environmental Protection Agency Recognition

Annually, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognizes innovative clean and drinking water projects through the PISCES and AQUARIUS award  programs. Pennsylvania projects that have been funded by PENNVEST are often acknowledged.

PISCES and AQUARIUS Award Programs

Each year, the Environmental Protection Agency recognizes projects awarded funding through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund through the George F. Ames Performance and Innovation in the SRF Creating Environmental Success Program (PISCES). Projects funded through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund are recognized through the AQUARIUS Recognition Program.

The following Pennsylvania water-quality improvement projects, financed through PENNVEST, have been recognized as some of the nation's most innovative by the PISCES and AQUARIUS award programs.
