Amy Gill is the Deputy Secretary of Tax Policy for the Department of Revenue (DOR). In her role, she functions as the agency's policy head with oversight of the Bureau of Research, Office of Economic Development, Bureau of Audits, and Board of Appeals.
Gill began her career with the Statistics of Income, Internal Revenue Service as an economist. In this role, she supervised the creation and reporting of the S Corporation statistics.
Gill began her career at DOR as a revenue forecasting analyst in the Bureau of Research. She later served as a Revenue Forecasting Manager and then as Director of Research. As Director of Research, she was responsible for the forecasting of General Fund and Motor License Fund revenues, expenditures, and estimating the fiscal impact of tax legislation.
In her role as Deputy Secretary for Tax Policy, Gill oversees the development and publication of tax policy. Gill plays a role in the development of tax legislation, fiscal impact of tax bills, and public guidance on tax issues.
Gill holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the Pennsylvania State University. She resides in Lewisberry with her husband, Patrick, and has two children, Bridgette and Shane.
