Standard Plan
If you are unable to pay in full, there are payment options available for your outstanding tax liability. If you are looking to set up a payment plan that is less than 12 months in length and you owe less than $50,000, you have a few options:
Step 1: Visit www.mypath.pa.gov.
Step 2: Refer to the myPATH User Guide for step by step instructions.
Step 1: Send an email to RA-RV-CEC-DPP@pa.gov / 717-783-4294.
Include the following information:
- Your full name
- Federal EIN, Revenue ID, or SSN
- Your mailing address
- Phone number
- Number of months you are requesting
Step 2: Wait for a response.
If you don’t hear back within 48 hours, please check your spam and/or junk folder.
Step 1: Have your checking account number and bank routing number available.
Step 2: Call 717-425-2495, Ext: PAYPA (72972).
BEFORE SETTING UP A PLAN:
- Make sure all previous returns are filed.
- If you are aware of any balances that are not in collections, please complete the REV-638 [PDF] to have the amounts included in the arrangement.
Extended Plan
If you need to establish a payment plan that is beyond the standard terms outlined above.
- More than 12 months
- Balance due is more than $50,000
- You currently have payment plan with the department
You must contact the department using one of the following two options:

Include the following information:

- Federal EIN, Revenue ID, or SSN
- Your mailing address

- Number of months you are requesting
- A completed REV-488 Statement of Financial Condition for Individuals [PDF]
Step 2: Wait for a response.

Step 3: The customer service representative will explain your options and next steps.
