    Leadership Giving

    Every SECA donation supports human service and environmental charities. Commonwealth employees can stand out by becoming leadership givers who donate the equivalent of a half hour or hour of their pay per month.

    How to Become a Leadership Giver

    It's simple—donate the value of an hour or half-hour of your time each month. If you donate via ESS, the minimum leadership giving amounts will be calculated automatically. To manually calculate, multiply your annual salary by .006 (Governor's Circle) or .003 (Gold Giver) and divide by 26 pay periods in a year.

    Recognition for Leadership Givers

    Governor’s Circle Giver

     (1 hour of pay per month, 0.6% of salary)

    • Public recognition on SECA’s website and/or Employee Bulletin Board
    • Letter of recognition from Pennsylvania's Governor

     

    Gold Giver

    (½ hour of pay per month, 0.3% of salary):

    • Public recognition on SECA’s website and/or Employee Bulletin Board

    Note: Leadership giving status is based on the percentage of salary at the time of the pledge. Changes in compensation between the time of the pledge and the distribution of acknowledgment items may affect leadership giving status.
