Services

Most programs and services commonly used by Pennsylvanians are managed by our state agencies. If you have questions or concerns related to a state program, use these resources to find more information.

Other Helpful Resources

The Governor does not have jurisdiction over federal agencies or policies, such as Social Security, passports, or immigration.

Please contact your federal elected officials in the U.S. Senate or the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Governor does not have jurisdiction over local issues.

These are best addressed by your local elected officials, like city councilmembers, borough or township supervisors, county commissioners, or mayors.

The Governor’s Office cannot provide legal assistance or advice, nor can the Governor intervene in court cases due to the separation of powers between the Executive and Judicial branches, as outlined in the Pennsylvania Constitution.

To receive a pardon or commutation, an individual must apply through the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons. The Governor cannot grant clemency without a recommendation from the Board.

To submit a new application or comment on an existing application, please contact the Board of Pardons directly.
