If you suspect a problem or encounter unfair behavior while voting, you can report it to help keep elections free and fair.

Overview

The Pennsylvania Department of State oversees elections in Pennsylvania.

It’s our job to keep elections free and fair. If you are aware of election fraud or voting irregularities, you can report it using our online form.

You must be registered to vote in Pennsylvania to file a complaint, and your name and address must match your voter registration record.

Let us know:

  • if you believe your rights have been violated
  • if you have a complaint about how elections in Pennsylvania are conducted
  • if you are aware of voter fraud

After you file your complaint

When you fill out the online form, we send your personal information and the details you provide to the appropriate authorities. They may contact you for more information.

How to File an Election Complaint

First, report polling place issues to the Judge of Elections at your polling place before you leave.

If your issue is not resolved by the Judge of Elections, report the issue to your county election office by completing our online form or by downloading and completing the HAVA complaint form if you believe your voting rights may have been violated.
