    Notify the Department of Environmental Protection of Disposal of Radiation-Producing Machines

    If a registrant no longer has radiation-producing machines in Pennsylvania, they must provide written notification to the Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Radiation Protection. Several disposal methods are available.

    Radiation machine registrations expire as stated on the certificate.

    If a registrant stops using radiation machines or fails to renew, they must:

    • Stop using all registered machines.

    • Sell or dispose of all registered machines.

    • Pay any fees owed.

    • In writing, notify the Department of disposal
