PHRC releases statement following the passing of President Carter

Harrisburg, PA -The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC) Executive Director releases the following statement on the passing of President Jimmy Carter.

“I join with many Americans mourning the passing of President Jimmy Carter,” said PHRC Executive Director Chad Dion Lassiter. MSW. “President Carter lived a life of service for others. Following his presidency, his humanitarian work is a testament to the person who Carter was, a man who wanted peace and everyone to have an equal footing in life. He was a champion for human rights.” We should all strive to follow the example of Carter and care for our community and neighbors.
