- 530.7 Absence Program Manual: Provides general rules and policy guidelines, along with clarifying information, to ensure that absence programs are administered consistently throughout all agencies that are subject to the regulatory authority of the Executive Board regarding paid absences; and all agencies that use the enterprise computer application managed by the Office of Administration.
- Absence Types Guide: Provides a brief description of each absence type and serves as an easy-to-use reference guide for agency HR Offices, supervisors and managers.
- Updated Appendix M – Reciprocal Leave Agreements: Provides the most current information on existing reciprocal leave agreements between the Office of Administration and other agencies.

Laws
- Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA): requires employers to provide employees with job-protected leave with continued benefits due to: a serious health condition that makes the employee unable to perform his or her job; having to care for a family member who has a serious health condition; the birth, adoption or placement of a child for foster care; having to care for an injured family member who is a member of the armed forces; and exigency reasons when a family member is a member of the armed forces.
- Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA): protects the civilian employment of non-full time military service members called to active duty.
