EEO Training
All employees are required to take the web-based course, "Discrimination and Sexual Harassment Prevention." Equal opportunity officers are responsible for providing new employees with an overview of the EO program at their agency. Each agency handles this in different ways.
Sexual Harassment Training
All employees are required to take the web-based course, "Discrimination and Sexual Harassment Prevention." EO officers for some agencies also conduct the sexual harassment awareness and prevention training for their agency's employees.
OA-Equal Employment Opportunity provides the required sexual harassment training for supervisors and managers through the Commonwealth University (CU). Because supervisors and managers are the first line of recourse for victims of harassment, the training given to them differs from the training given to non-management employees.
The following materials can be utilized for training:

All new equal opportunity officers are given an orientation from OA-Equal Employment Opportunity.
In addition, the bureau has developed a series of webinars designed to increase the knowledge of the EEO community. The webinars are available in My Learning (located under "My Learning" at https://www.myworkplace.pa.gov) and can be found by entering key words “EEO Exchange” in the Search Term box on that site.
The bureau also hosts periodic trainings and webinars throughout the year. If you are interested in receiving particular EEO training, call 717-783-1130.
