Stump Pond

Located in Susquehanna CountyStump Pond is a 12-acre impoundment owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and managed by the Fish and Boat Commission.

Fishing

Commonwealth Inland Waters regulations apply for all species of fish. Stump Pond has a healthy population of Bluegills, Black Crappie, Largemouth Bass and Pickerel. Lily pads are prevalant during warm weather seasons. Anglers typically fish near the dam or adjacent to the parking lot.

Boating

Boating is limited to boats powered by electric motors and un-powered boats. Kayaks and canoes are primarily used.

To be used at the lake, boats must be registered or have a valid launch permit (permits are issued by the Commission or PA Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources).
