Department of Revenue Extends Customer Service Call Center Hours to Assist Late-Season Tax Filers

The deadline to submit 2024 personal income tax returns is Tuesday, April 15, 2025

Harrisburg, PA — As the deadline for filing 2024 Pennsylvania personal income tax returns nears, the Department of Revenue is extending customer service hours in its call center to provide additional phone assistance to taxpayers. Secretary of Revenue Pat Browne urged taxpayers to take advantage of these extended hours before the April 15, 2025 filing deadline.

“We know from our experience that it can be helpful for our taxpayers to speak with one of our trained representatives on the phone if they have a personal income tax question,” said Secretary Browne. “That’s a big reason why we annually extend our phone support hours in the week leading up to the filing deadline, ensuring Pennsylvanians have direct access to our staff. Our goal is to provide personalized assistance and help simplify the filing process as best we can.”
