Why attend?
Since 2022, we've been transforming the lives of teenagers. KSCA uses a military academy style training model to provide structure and discipline for youth between the ages of 16 and 18 years old. It helps prepare them with skills they will need in adulthood. KSCA is a joint effort between the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and the National Guard Bureau, in consultation with the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Advance your academics
Cadets can work towards passing the GED or recovering high school credits through credit recovery.
Attend for free
All meals, housing, uniforms, and school supplies are provided.
Improve your life skills
The KSCA curriculum ensures that Cadets become well-rounded and responsible citizens.
"While being here I learned a lot of things... Overall, I’m just better off mentally, physically. I’m a better person, a better man, a better father for coming here to the Keystone State ChalleNGe Academy. I just think that all of us overcame something great and we should never forget that, and we should keep on the path we were going on."
- Cadet Julius Lee, KSCA of Class 2023
