Uniontown, PA – Washington County Maintenance Manager, Susan Howard, announced the following tentative work plan for the week of April 17, 2023. All maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting and operational basis.
During county maintenance work activities motorists should expect to encounter flaggers, single-lane restrictions, moving operations, and detours. Motorists should drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the usage of headlights.
Crack Sealing is scheduled for:
- Route 18 (Prosperity Pike, Park Avenue, Jefferson Avenue), in Morris Township, South Franklin Township, and City of Washington
- Route 136 (Beau Street and Main Street) in Somerset and South Strabane Townships
- Route 136 (Main Street) in Carroll Township
- Route 136 (Main Street and Dry Run Road) in Somerset and Nottingham Townships
- Route 844 (Washington Road, Jefferson Avenue) in Independence, Hopewell and Canton Townships
Sweeping is scheduled for:
- Route 2041 (Beallsville Road) in East Bethlehem Township, Deemston Borough, Beallsville Borough, and Ellsworth Borough
- Route 2048 (Old National Pike) in Centerville Borough
- Route 4012 (Center Street, Noblestown Road, Lincoln Avenue)
- Route 4014 (State Line Road) in Jefferson Township
- Route 4015 (Waterdam Road, Joffre Cherry Valley Road) in Mt. Pleasant Township
Boom Mowing is scheduled for:
- Route 2032 (Deer Run Lane) in West Pike Run Township
- Route 2036 (Pike Run Drive) in West Pike Run Township and California Borough
- Route 2038 (South California Drive and Clover Hill Road) in West Pike Run Township and California Borough
- Route 4035 (Lynn Portal Road and Eberle Road) in Mt. Pleasant Township
- Route 4045 (Willow Road and Eberle Road) in Mt. Pleasant Township
Patching is scheduled for:
- Route 22 (William Penn Highway) in Hanover, Smith and Robinson Townships
- Route 50 (Avella Road) in Independence, Cross Creek, and Mount Pleasant Townships
Brushing is scheduled for:
- Route 3026 (Enon Church Road) in West and East Finley Townships
- Route 3003 (Dry Ridge Road) in Donegal Township
Bridge Repair/Replacement work is scheduled for:
- Route 3021 (McGuffey Road) in West Finley Township
Litter crews will be picking litter on various routes throughout the county as weather and other activities permit.
Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced, and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout the County.
