The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is advancing two projects to improve Valley Forge Road (Route 23) in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County. Please click on the projects below for more information on each project.

​Route 23/Valley Forge Rd. over Trout Creek Bridge Replacement​​

This project aims to provide a safe, efficient alignment of Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Moore Road and Vandenburg Road while providing for future development in the area.

Route 23 and North Gulph Road Intersection Improvements

This project will relocate a section of existing Valley Forge Road (Route 23) and North Gulph Road (SR 3039) to allow for a new "gateway" area for the Valley Forge National Historical Park (VFNHP). ​​
