The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to an online plans display regarding the Main Street (Route 114) bridge rehabilitation project. This project is located over a mill race tributary to Yellow Breeches Creek in Lower Allen Township in the village of Lisburn, PA. The purpose of this project is to provide continued safe and efficient crossing of Route 114, Section 037 over Mill Race.

The project consists of cleaning and painting the existing steel superstructure and performing repairs to the substructure units. New approach pavement overlays and guide rail will be included in the project. The lane widths on Main Street will match existing lane widths. The bridge will be closed for approximately 3 months to all traffic during construction. The proposed detour route will use Lisburn Road (Route 2017), Forge Road / Old Forge Road (Route 2019 / Route 4020), and Old Stage Road (Route 4025).

The project is currently in design and construction work is expected to take place in the 2028 construction season.

A plans display will be held online only. A digital version of the information will be available for public comment from August 20, 2025, to September 20, 2025.
