This is a project to replace the bridge that carries Jordan Road over Interstate 90 in Harborcreek Township in Erie County.
The bridge is located on Jordan Road (Route 4108) just south of Penn State Behrend college campus.
The project includes removal of the existing structure and construction a new concrete bridge that meets current vertical clearances standards. Work will also include minimal paving on each side of the new bridge, drainage improvements, minor landscaping as well as new guiderail, right-of-way fence, high tension cable barrier, signs, signing, and pavement markings.
Work began March 17, 2025, and is expected to be completed by December 2025.
The existing bridge was built in 1958. It is classified as poor condition and has a vertical clearance of 15 feet, 2 inches over the westbound traffic on I-90. Approximately 850 vehicles a day use the bridge, on average.
The contractor is Francis J Palo Inc. Clarion, PA. The contract cost is $5,157026, which is to be paid entirely with federal funds.

Traffic Impacts
Drivers should be alert for nighttime lane restrictions and rolling closures for both directions of Interstate 90 near Jordan Road (Route 4108) in Harborcreek Township in Erie County.
The restrictions near mile marker 31 are expected to be in place daily from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM between July 22 and July 25, 2025, weather permitting.
Drivers should anticipate travel delays as the work is being completed.
