The Route 857 Over Mountain Creek Deck Replacement project is located in Georges Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. The work will include concrete bridge deck repairs to the top of the non-composite adjacent box beams and adding a 5” hybrid composite synthetic concrete (HCSC) deck. Additional concrete crack and spall repairs will be made to the beams and abutments and then they’ll be epoxy painted. Scour protection rock placement will occur at the abutments. Traffic will be maintained through the project site with a single continuous lane controlled with a traffic signal. Each phase of the project is expected to take 45-days for a 90-day project impact.
