This project involves safety improvements to one existing signalized intersection and one existing unsignalized intersection along the Sumneytown Pike in Upper Salford Township, Montgomery County, PA.
The improvements that will be made to improve safety include:
- Traffic Signal upgrades and the addition of left turn lanes at the intersection of Sumneytown Pike and Barndt Road.
- A new traffic signal and the addition of a left turn lane at the intersection of Sumneytown and Barndt.
- A realignment of Ridge Road/Old Skippack Road is anticipated.
