Organ Donation Incidental Expenses Family Benefit Plan

The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) administers the Organ Donor Incidental Expenses Family Benefit Plan (ODIEFBP), which was established by the Pennsylvania Act 102 to increase awareness of the need for organ transplantation and to encourage organ donation. Through this plan, reimbursement benefits for certain incidental expenses incurred by organ donors and/or family members are provided. The funding source of the ODIEFBP is the Governor Robert P. Casey Memorial Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Trust Fund.
