Overview

The end of February 2020 marked the close of a 5-month comment period on the initial draft of the Game Commission's CWD Response Plan, resulting in a total of 447 comments received from the public. Input was also received from experts from other agencies and organizations. These contributions were taken into consideration during the revision process. As a result of the substantial changes that were made to the plan, it was again made available for public comment for 30 days. An additional 438 comments from the public, agencies, and organizations were received. Following review and consideration of all comments, the final version of this document was developed and is available below along with a 2-page summary of the goals, objectives, and strategies described in the plan. This CWD Response Plan will be presented to the Board of Commissioners at the upcoming July meeting.
