    Air Emissions Inventory for the Natural Gas Industry


    On Dec. 6, 2011 the Department of Environmental Protection alerted companies involved in unconventional natural gas development around Pennsylvania that they must submit to the agency data on their facilities' air emissions for 2011. The reports were due March 1, 2012. DEP will incorporate the data into the statewide emissions inventory, to be submitted to the federal Environmental Protection Agency by Dec. 31, 2012.
