Route 130 Allegheny River Boulevard Maintenance Activities Underway in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing maintenance work is underway on Allegheny River Boulevard (Route 130) in the Municipality of Penn Hills and the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County.

Single-lane alternating traffic will occur on Allegheny River Boulevard between Washington Boulevard (Route 8) and Sandy Creek Road (Route 130) weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through the end of April. PennDOT crews will conduct maintenance work including side dozing, shoulder cleanup, drainage ditching, and other miscellaneous work in advance of seal coating operations that will occur later this spring.

Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone. Please allow extra time if traveling through this corridor.
