The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announces a Plans Display for State Route 0422 (Penn Avenue) over Cacoosing Creek Bridge Replacement Project.
The online plans display includes digital picture boards.
The project includes replacing the S.R. 422 (Penn Avenue) Bridge over Cacoosing Creek to provide a safe and efficient crossing with a structure that meets current design standards.
The current bridge is a single-span, reinforced concrete, T-Beam structure built in 1934 and is approaching its end of life.
The project is currently in the Preliminary Engineering Phase.
Construction will take place in phases and the anticipated construction cost is $2,500,000.
The project is estimated to be let for construction in spring 2026.
