Project Overview

The Chartiers Avenue Streetscape Project (Phase 1) is anticipated to consist of streetscaping and multimodal transportation improvements to SR 51 Chartiers Avenue from McDonalds Way to the bridge over Chartiers Creek.  Potential improvements being considered include pedestrian and bicycle facilities, intersection enhancements at Furnace Street & the shopping plaza, streetlighting, and green infrastructure.  McKees Rocks Community Development Corporation (MRCDC) is the project sponsor.
