This $11.5 million rehabilitation project of the Crawford Avenue Bridge in the City of Connellsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania will add a shared-use path to the structure, allowing for safe pedestrian and bicycle access. The bridge separates the east and west sides of Connellsville and is a critical component of the community. This project will extend the life of the structure, improve safety, and significantly benefit the needs of the city’s citizens.

Project work is scheduled from January 9 to late 2024.

Project Updates

12/16/2024 - The project is complete. Only punch list activities remain. 

11/15/2024 - A ceremony was held for the bridge opening on 11/11/2024. The road is open to unrestricted traffic. Minor activities remain. There is a possibility of short-term flagging operations to facilitate equipment demobilization.
