Route 18 Surface Improvement Work to Begin Next Week in Greene County

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to inform motorists that surface improvement work will begin next week on Route 18 (Golden Oaks Road) in Morris and Franklin Townships, Greene County, weather and operational dependent.

Weekday single-lane restrictions between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM will begin April 3 and continue through late June, as needed, on Route 18 (Golden Oaks Road) between the West Virginia state line and the Washington County line (Prosperity).

The restrictions will be in place to allow crews to perform base repairs.

Crews from Golden Eagle Construction will be performing the work.

This work is part of a $5.1 million project for surface improvements on Route 18 and Route 4015 in Greene County. The project includes milling, base repair, asphalt paving, and pavement markings. The project is anticipated to be complete in June of 2023.
