Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a bridge deck replacement project is set to begin next week on Wilmot Road (Route 2007) in Terry Township, Bradford County.
Starting Monday, March 24, 2025, Wilmot Road will be closed between Shaffers Notch Road (Route 2011) in Terry Township and Ambrosious Road (Route 2011) in Wilmot Township, while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge crew begins work on the bridge replacement project over Sugar Run Creek. Work on the project includes removal of the existing concrete bridge deck, construction of a new bridge deck, bridge approach paving, and line painting.
A detour using Shaffers Notch Road, Wyalusing-New Albany Road (Route 2010), Route 187, and Ambrosious Road, will be in place for the duration of the project. Work on the project is anticipated to be completed by June 2025, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
