Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of a lane restriction this week on Interstate 80 westbound in Valley Township, Montour County, for a soil remediation project due to a previous crash.
On Thursday, May 1, 2025, the contractor, Bressler’s Environmental Service, will be performing soil remediation on Interstate 80 westbound at mile marker 225.8, which is located approximately 1-mile east of Exit 224 (Route 54 / Danville). Motorists can expect the left (passing) lane and shoulder to be restricted. Work will be performed between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather pending.
Motorists can expect delays are and urged to watch for slow moving traffic and construction vehicles entering and exiting the roadway; and should drive with caution in the area.
