King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that high-friction resurfacing operations will begin next week on U.S. 202 in Warrington Township, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, October 7, through Friday, November 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, alternating lane closures with flagging will occur on U.S. 202 between Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) and County Line Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
The work is part of a $4.9 million project to install High-Friction Surface Treatment (HFST) on several state highways across Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, to provide increased friction and grip on pavements in wet and dry conditions.
