King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that milling and paving operations are planned next week on several state highways in Chester County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, March 31, through Friday, April 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on North Creek Road between Glenloch Drive and Chesterville Road in Franklin Township.
- Monday, March 31, through Friday, April 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Corby Road/Pennock Bridge Road between Route 896 (Newark Road) and Route 841 (Wickerton Road) in Franklin, New London, and Penn townships.
- Monday, March 31, through Friday, April 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Clay Creek Road/Northbank Road between Church Hill Road and Chesterville Road in Franklin and London Britain townships.
- Monday, March 31, through Friday, April 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Strickersville Road between Lewisville Road and the London Britain Township line in Elk and Franklin townships.
- Monday, March 31, through Friday, April 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Old Kennett Road/Old Kennett Pike between Kaolin Road and the Delaware state line in Kennett Township.
- Monday, March 31, through Friday, April 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Edenton Road/Ewing Road between Route 896 (Newark Road) and the Penn Township line in Londonderry and Upper Oxford townships.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
