Bridge on Creek Road (Route 4012) in Washington Township, York County, is Closed to Traffic

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a bridge on Creek Road (Route 4012) in Washington Township, York County, is closed due to a potential concern with the structure. The bridge spans the North Branch Bermudian Creek between Milford Green Road and Hull Road, approximately 1.4 miles east of Route 194.

PennDOT is assessing the situation and will provide more details as they become available. To ensure the safety of the traveling public, the bridge is closed until further notice.

An approximately 5.5-mile detour is in place using Route 194, Davidsburg Road (Route 4008), and Kralltown Road. 

Creek Road average 981 vehicles per day.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting 62. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following local alerts on X.
