Right lane closure at Exit 36 to begin at 7:00 PM
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today the emergency pavement repairs planned for tonight on southbound Interstate 83 at Exit 36 (Fishing Creek/Route 262) in northern York County will begin at 7:00 PM instead of 9:00 PM. A right lane restriction will be in place.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 7:00 PM tonight, Wednesday, March 19, to 6:00 AM tomorrow, Thursday, March 20. The right travel lane of southbound I-83 will be closed in the area of Exit 36 so a section of pavement can be repaired between the off-ramp and on-ramp.
The ramps will remain open.
Travelers should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
JD Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, PA, is the contractor for this work.
