The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is advising motorists to expect overnight traffic delays beginning at 8:00 PM Sunday, April 6, 2025, on Route 1009 (Frankstown Road) between Route 1021 (Amelia Avenue) and Route 36 (Union Avenue).
Lane closures and short-term overnight traffic controls will be in place from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, from Sunday to Thursday, for the duration of the project.
As always, PennDOT stresses extra caution in all work zones. Motorists should drive slowly, eliminate all distractions, and stay alert for direction from advanced signage.
