This project is located at the intersection of Lancaster Avenue and Remington Road in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 6-0 identified this intersection as a high crash location. To improve safety at the intersection roadway widening to accommodate left turn lanes on Lancaster Avenue is proposed. In addition to left turn lanes, the project will install new traffic signal equipment and ADA-compliant curb ramps.

Public Outreach

PennDOT held a virtual public meeting for this upcoming project on Tuesday, December 3. The department’s design team delivered a project presentation before opening the meeting to questions.
